It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Terrance Gore, who was tragically lost in a car accident yesterday. Terrance, born in 1991, departed this world in 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy and warmth. Our hearts ache for his beloved wife, Britney, and their children, Zane and Skylyn.

Terrance was a beacon of light, a fun-loving soul whose heartwarming presence touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His impact extended far beyond personal relationships, resonating deeply within our organization and among the countless fans and friends he made throughout his journey.

The author first encountered Terrance in 2012 while working for the Burlington Royals. Welcoming him, alongside Bubba Starling and Fred Ford, from the airport, it was immediately evident that Terrance possessed a unique ability to unite people. He was the “glue guy,” earning instant respect, love, and a genuine sense of camaraderie from those around him.

During that unforgettable season, the team, dubbed the #BTownBombSquad, lived up to their name with an abundance of home runs. A particularly cherished memory is Terrance hitting his lone home run late in the season. The joyous celebration that followed, a lighthearted prank from teammates Cam Gallagher and Bubba involving a mini-bat above his locker, exemplified the endless laughter and contagious energy Terrance brought.

Words are insufficient to express our deepest condolences to Britney and the entire Gore family. On behalf of myself and the Burlington community, we are eternally grateful for the privilege of sharing in the indelible memories Terrance created. He will be dearly missed.
