The Milford community is grieving the loss of a dedicated local hero, Firefighter and EMT Valentin “Vali” Hunsicker. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow first responders.
To honor Vali’s life and service, a gathering will be held at the Stroyan Funeral Home, located at 405 W Harford St in Milford, on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Visitation hours are scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a brief memorial service at 4:30 PM.
In a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated so much to his community, the remembrance will then continue at the Milford Fire Department, 107 W Catharine St. All are invited to join Vali’s family, including Dave, for a buffet and a celebration of the wonderful memories he created. This gathering reflects the camaraderie and support he cherished within the firehouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Vali’s memory to the Milford Fire Department. This contribution will honor his enduring legacy of service and commitment to protecting the residents of Milford, Pennsylvania. His courage and compassion will not be forgotten.
